Vineland Station Landscape Awards
St. Helena Star February 14, 2009

Bright umbrellas, outdoor seating, drought-resistant plants, stone benches and recycled bricks comprise an inviting shared walkway and garden that earned two St. Helena businesses — Azteca Market and its neighbor, Dragonfly (eclectic clothing, costumes and more) — a “valentine” from St. Helena’s Beautification Foundation. The garden entry on Main Street was designed and installed by property owner Rodney Friedrich.
Each year, the eight-member Beautification Foundation singles out worthy residents and businesses and awards them a “We love what you’ve done” valentine in appreciation of outstanding neighborhood improvements.
